In zehn Sekunden scannbar
The proposal goes out and then nothing. Most people read that as a price problem. More often the reader had to do work before they could react: find the scope, compare it with two others, and work out who even decides. Each of those steps is a place to stop.
One page, one decision
Scope and price on the same page, three options at most — and say what is not included. A reader who can see the whole offer without opening a second document can answer it. A reader who has to assemble the offer from four attachments usually answers later, or never.
A real date for the answer
“Get back to us whenever” sounds friendly and behaves like silence. A date — tied to your capacity, a start date or a price validity — gives the reader something to plan against. It also tells you when the follow-up is due, instead of guessing.
Make it scannable in ten seconds
Project name in the subject line, the number early, the rest in short blocks. Nobody reads a proposal in order on the first pass; they scan for scope, price and date. Put those three where the eye lands first, and the details underneath can stay detailed.
The follow-up is part of the offer
One follow-up, on the date you named, referring to one open question: the scope, the start date, the decision maker. Not “just checking in” — a specific question gives the reader a reason to answer. Silence after that is an answer too, and you can plan with it.
Teklif gider ve ardından sessizlik olur. Bunu çoğu kişi fiyat sorunu olarak okur. Oysa okuyucunun tepki vermeden önce iş yapması gerekmiştir: kapsamı bulmak, ikisiyle karşılaştırmak ve kimin karar verdiğini anlamak. Her adım durulabilecek bir yerdir.
Tek sayfa, tek karar
On saniyede taranabilir olsun
