Was „"richtig" eigentlich heißt
Five channels, all half-done: a website without current prices, a profile with three photos, a newsletter that goes out twice a year, and a social account silent since spring. Together they cost more than one done properly.
What "properly" actually means
A channel is proper when three things hold:
- The information is current. Prices, opening hours, contact person. No channel repairs an outdated price list.
- Somebody owns it. A name, not "the marketing team". A channel without a name runs exactly as long as the enthusiasm of the launch.
- There is a next step. For whoever calls, enquires or comes by — where do they go? A channel without a next step is a business card in the shop window.
Why the second channel usually arrives too early
The second channel feels like progress because it is visible. Making the first one proper is invisible — nobody congratulates you on a current price list. So attention moves to wherever attention is easier to produce.
When the second channel earns its place
When the first one runs without a reminder. As long as someone has to be reminded, it is not finished. That is not a question of budget, but of whether the work happens in the month anyway.
