Der Kopfhörer, der nur auf einer Seite funktioniert
Nur ein Ohr: der Klinkestecker steckt einen Millimeter zu tief, das Windows-Headset nutzt plötzlich den Lautsprecherausgang, oder der eine USB-Adapter macht nur Mono. Bevor Sie ein neues Gerät kaufen — vier Prüfungen in fünf Minuten.
Halb gesteckt
Headsets mit Klinke haben einen Vierpolkontakt (Audio plus Mikrofon). Steckt der Stecker einen Millimeter zu tief oder zu flach, geht nur eine Seite durch. Stecker ganz herausziehen und gerade, mit leichtem Druck, neu einsetzen — am Stecker ziehen, nicht am Kabel.
Der falsche Ausgang
Nach einem Update oder einem neuen Gerät wechselt Windows oft stillschweigend zum Standardausgang — zu den Lautsprechern, nicht zum Headset. Auf das Lautsymbol, Ausgang wählen, richtiges Gerät prüfen. Und im Geräte-Manager nachsehen, ob „Kanäle gänzlich ausgeben“ (Mono) aktiv ist — dann tragen links und rechts dasselbe Signal, meist halb leise.
Adapter und ein zweites Gerät
Ein billiger USB-Adapter kann Mono liefern, ohne dass man es merkt. Stecken Sie das Headset direkt in einen zweiten Computer oder ins Handy: Ist es dort auch einseitig, steckt der Fehler im Headset oder im Kabel. Funktioniert es dort normal, liegt es am Rechner oder Adapter. Diese zwei Minuten sparen den Kauf.
Wenn es dann doch das Gerät ist
Kabelbruch am Stecker, defekter Mikrofonzweig, lockere Lötstelle: nach den drei Prüfungen ist ein Defekt wirklich wahrscheinlich. Erst dann kaufen — und ein Modell mit abnehmbarem Kabel wählen.

Half plugged
Jack headsets have a four-pole contact (audio plus microphone). If the plug sits one millimeter too deep or too flat, only one side comes through. Pull the plug out fully and re-insert it straight, with light pressure — pull at the plug, not at the cable.
The wrong output
After an update or a new device, Windows often silently switches the default output — to the speakers, not to the headset. Click the sound icon, pick the output, check the right device. And look in the device manager whether "fill speaker channels in mono" is on — then left and right carry the same signal, usually half as loud.
Adapters and a second device
A cheap USB adapter can deliver mono without you noticing. Plug the headset directly into a second computer or into a phone: if it is one-sided there as well, the fault is in the headset or the cable. If it works normally there, the computer or the adapter is at fault. These two minutes save the purchase.
And when it really is the device
Cable break at the plug, a dead microphone branch, a loose solder point: after the three checks a defect is really likely. Only then buy — and pick a model with a detachable cable.

Adaptör ve ikinci bir cihaz
Ucuz bir USB adaptör fark edilmeden mono verebilir. Kulaklığı ikinci bir bilgisayara ya da telefona takın: orada da tek taraflıysa hata kulaklıktadır ya da kablodadır; orada düzgünse suçlu bilgisayar ya da adaptördür. Bu iki dakika alışverişi kurtarır.
Sorun gerçekten cihazdaysa?
