Die E-Mail-Signatur, die Sie zwanzig Mal am Tag senden
Jeden Tag gehen Dutzende E-Mails raus. Unten steht derselbe Block: Name, Firmenname, Telefon.
Was reingehört
Name, eine Zeile, was Sie tun (nicht Ihr Werbeslogan, sondern Ihre Tätigkeit), Telefonnummer, Webadresse. Optional: Öffnungszeiten — denn wer nicht anruft, schreibt. Alles auf zwei bis drei Zeilen. Mehr liest niemand.
Was raus muss
Every day dozens of emails go out. At the bottom sits the same block: name, company name, phone. For most small businesses that is either nearly empty or a business card from 2019. Yet the signature is the most-seen advertising space of the company — twenty times a day, at no cost.
What belongs in it
Name, one line of what you do (not your slogan, but your trade), phone number, website. Optional: opening hours — because the people who do not call are the ones who write. All of it on two to three lines. Nobody reads more.
What has to go
Animated graphics: often broken on phones, in the spam folder of some recipients. Five social media icons nobody clicks. Six empty lines for the disclaimer. And: no price or discount line in the signature. A signature is a business card, not a promotion space — a sentence that changes nothing in your quote just looks restless there.
The one-minute test
Send yourself an email to your own phone and open it there. Is the number clickable? Is the name visible without scrolling? And the most important rule: one person maintains one template. Twenty signatures are twenty versions of your company — none of them current.
Before you pay for advertising, this space is already paid for. It just needs maintaining.
Her gün düzinelerce e-posta gider.
